How to set up assessment due date and corresponding notifications?
By default, the assessment due date takes the same value as the due date of the 'Activity' it is part of. You can manually change / modify this due date by changing it in the 'Calendar'.
Editing assessment due dates in Calendar
Click on the 'Calendar' option on the left navigation panel.
View the assessment details by clicking on the assessment you want to view. Click the 'Edit' button to edit the assessment details.
You can edit the assessment due date and time by clicking on the Calendar icon and setting the new due date and time.
Setting up Assessment Due Date reminder
To set the Assessment Due Date reminder, go to the assessment centre and locate the assessment you want to edit. Click on the 'Edit' icon and open the assessment editor page.
To set the assessment due date reminder, set the value of 'Notify before due date' in days. For example if you set 'Notify before due date' as 3 days, Practera will inform the students 3 days before the assessment is due.
By default, 'Notify before due date' value is 1 day. You can edit this default value by following the above steps.
Important: To edit a published assessment, you will have to first un-publish the assessment, edit the 'Notify before due date' value, save and publish the assessment.
Tracking the Overdue Submissions
You can easily track if an assessment was submitted on time or after the due date. To see this, go to the assessment centre and locate the assessment you want to check. Click on the 'Manage' icon to navigate to the assessment submission page.
